Sunday Snippet: Parade on Main (an Organic Nature short)

I hope everyone who has a long weekend gets to enjoy the time off. We're continuing to be low-key and not really doing much more than our usual food fest of pizza, burgers, brats, and sides. I've been trying to balance cleaning and sorting with writing and editing work.

Had a really solid week of television viewing. I started out with Peak Practice. I had to skip an episode because it's not available for streaming.

Caught another Master Class lesson about graphic design. This one featured using photography in design. Got a few great ideas to maybe use for covers and marketing material.

Ended up watching a full episode of Blue Heelers and started another. The tension and conflict seems to be amping up and I'm not sure I really like it. It's gone a little into soap territory, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it's not what I expected.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina pulled a fast one and made me shift my opinion a little on Zelda. This is a good thing. I really didn't like her at all until she chose Sabrina and Hilda over the high priest. I kind of hope he dies in a fire. I'm also not loving the teacher. Again, it might be residual Doctor Who dislike bleeding over.

Caught an episode of the Ready Room. I like Wil's enthusiasm and he asks some great questions. Looking forward to the recap of episode three.

Watched a couple of Passionflix originals. A holiday Quickie, The Merry Mistake, entertained with a mistaken identity vibe. That finished up the holiday fare from this past year. I also got to watch the premiere of Wicked and thoroughly enjoyed! I'm looking forward to more paranormal romance adaptations.

Got another episode of Chicago Med in. This one ended up being a good viewing with lots going on but fairly equal storylines.

Caught the opener of the third season of No Offence. Man. A gut-wrenching episode. I love, love, love Dinah and Spike's friendship. I have a sneaky suspicion he'll be moving up and forming the third point of the trio now. I'm okay with that.

Finished up the tenth season of Silent Witness and should start series eleven this week. This is an episode I remembered watching but I'd forgotten how it played out. Ended up really loving it.

Started the sixteenth season of Classic Who. New companion, new K-9, new multiple arcs with a single thread. I think I'll like through line with four-part arcs.

Last but not least, I caught another episode of UFOs: The Lost Evidence. This one had a focus on police files. Pretty interesting.

That's pretty much it for television this week. Tonight's post is from Parade on Main, an Organic Nature short featuring the Memorial Day holiday. (Weird aside, I didn't plan the feature date to coincide with the holiday, it's a happy coincidence!)

Here's the mini-blurb:

Eppie and Vin help the brother of Vin's best friend find his footing when he arrives in town to be the honored speaker at the Memorial Day parade. Vin recounts his brief stint in the military and Eppie plays matchmaker—something she swore she'd never do.

And a snippety peek…

Vin pulled into the drive after passing Lily in Eppie's SUV. He grinned when Eppie came out with a crate of supplies for another parade entry. She'd turned the Memorial Day holiday into a fun event for Organic Nature.

Cutting the engine, he slid out of the truck and met Eppie on the porch. "Need any help?" He took the box, checked the label, and placed it with the dance troop's order.

Eppie planted a hand on her hip. "You're getting to be a pro at that." She nodded toward the stack of items.

Vin cracked a smile. "You're a good instructor." He turned and drew her close. "I've got the beef franks and buns in the truck. And I stopped to fill the coolers with ice." Dropping a kiss on her lips, he let her go and turned to head back to his truck.

Eppie followed along. "I invited Lily to stick around. She's stopping at her mom's then bringing my car back." She retrieved the bags with the food items.

Vin paused with one of the coolers propped against his hip. "Not sure that's a good idea. Greg's a little off today." He hefted the ice-filled container from the bed of the truck and carried it to the porch.

Eppie cocked her head. "PTSD?" Concern filled her gaze. "Do you think we should cancel tonight and try a different weekend?"

He loved the empathy she had for people.

His hand shot out to grasp hers. "No on cancelling. Hannah wants him to be around friends. He's been withdrawn all day, not engaging with anyone. I think you nailed the reason. The closer we get to the parade, the more he sinks into himself." But the guy still did excellent work.

Eppie squeezed Vin's fingers. "I'll fill Lily in, but I'd like her to be here. She needs something to occupy her time. Jan went on a girls' spa weekend and Lily's still licking her wounds from breaking up with dickhead Rob." She grimaced, sticking her tongue out like she'd eaten something bitter, before she started for the patio area with the fire pit.

Vin headed to grab the other cooler, turning Eppie's words over in his mind. Lily and Greg seemed to be two souls in need of comfort. Maybe they could help each other…

"Hey, Ep." He called to her after picking up the first cooler and dragging both behind him. "Think we should set up Lily and Greg? You know, see if there's any chemistry between the two?" He strategically placed the coolers in the circle of chairs around the fire pit.

Eppie broke open the pack of hot dogs. "Yeah, no. Let's not do that. We'll introduce them and let nature take its course"—she sent him a raised eyebrow look—"if it chooses to do so." She flashed a grin. "Lily specifically said no setups, but who knows, right?"

Vin gave a nod. "Right. No matchmaking." Make the introduction, step back, and let the chips fall.

Good plan.

Eppie will definitely change her tune about matchmaking but she'll be pretty sly about any nudging she does.

That's it for this week. Happy reading!

Sunday Snippet: Open Shelter

Had a family wedding this weekend and it ended up being terrific weather, kind of warm but the venue had air conditioning and it cooled off in the evening and the mosquitoes weren't awful.

Had another weird mix of a week. Got a lot of writing done and several new projects on the horizon I prepped for. Not a bad week for television either.

Started out with a new episode of Blue Heelers. Didn't quite finish it up yet, but I'm over halfway through.

Watched another episode of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. I'm still enjoying this one. I'm a little on the fence with Zelda but I'm kind of invested in finding out what happened to Sabrina's parents. And Harvey's dad is a total ass.

Caught the second class on graphic design in the Master Class series I started. This one focused on typography and ended up being pretty interesting and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Started the Ready Room episodes for Picard. I enjoyed Wil Wheaton's mix of insider knowledge and uber-fan vibe. Looking forward to more of these.

Watched another Passionflix holiday Quickie. The Package ended up being another fun elevator setting. I'm a fan of being trapped with nowhere to go and having to deal with a bad day.

Caught another episode of Chicago Med. I'm really happy I'm finally able to watch this series from the beginning. A heartbreaker of an episode but happy at the end.

Watched the series two finale of No Offence. This ended up being a really terrific season. I'll look forward to starting series three this week.

Also started the first part of a Silent Witness two-parter. I vaguely remember this one and the next episode marks the end of series ten. We'll be getting into the seasons I've watched before.

Caught the final episode arc for season fifteen of Classic Who. Leela stayed behind on Gallifrey so I'm assuming there'll be a new companion when I start sixteen this week.

Started the second season of UFOs: The Lost Evidence. The first episode opened with a deep dive into Nazi secrets surrounding unidentified flying objects. I've seen quite a few of those clips on another program but it's interesting to see how different experts interpret things.

Watched two more episodes of The Muppet Show with Milton Berle and Rich Little as the guest stars. Lots of fun to have the comedians interact with the muppets.

Also started a new episode of The Hardy Boys. I had a long conversation with my brother about the show, which he recommended. I enjoy the intrigue and clues and I love how the brothers interact with each other and their friends.

That's pretty much it for television this week. Tonight's post is from Open Shelter, a novella that gives long-time friends a chance to pursue something more.

Here's the mini-blurb:

Jay Hestwick meets Weslee Noss at the open shelter his mom operates and sees through her sarcastic rogue front to the scared kid underneath and decides to be her new best friend. Fifteen years later, Jay runs the program and Weslee comes home, ready to assist, but she doesn't realize she's bringing a dangerous menace out of hiding now that she's back.

And a snippety peek…

Jay studied Weslee while she unpacked her satchel. "Big Bertha's happy to have you back." The woman insisted on cooking them dinner then ordered them back to Weslee's office while she got to work.

Weslee glanced up. "I missed her. There's something about the combination of grandmotherly warmth mixed with the drill sergeant vibe I've never been able to find anywhere else but here." She chuckled.

Jay nodded, understanding exactly what Weslee meant. "When she considers you one of her own, she's not bashful about making it known." Bertha wore a lot of hats for a lot of people.

Weslee put some files in the desk then settled behind it. "You and she are all I have now. And I'm glad I've got both of you." She smiled. "Should we tell her she doesn't need to matchmake?"

Jay shook his head. "And ruin her fun? Nah. Let's give her tonight." He'd be reluctant to admit Bertha's dinner idea took some of the pressure he'd put on himself off.

He wanted Weslee's first night back to be amazing.

But he didn't quite know what his next step should be.

She tilted her head to one side. "What are you worried about?"

He blinked. "How did you know I'm concerned about something?"

She arched a brow. "Master's degree, remember?" She got serious. "And I've known you forever even though I've been gone for a while."

Jay didn't want to downplay anything. "Thinking about later … after dinner." He shifted in his seat, his confidence from earlier a little off.

Her lips curved in a half-smile. "As in your place or mine?" She got up and came around the front of the desk.

Jay huffed out a breath. "Pretty much." He leaned back in the comfortable chair. "I mean being on the same page is terrific, but I didn't really think past letting you know I'm interested." He met her gaze. "Kind of pathetic, right?"

Weslee pushed away from the desk. "Not at all." She moved to sit on his lap. "In fact, it's one of the things I love about you. You're confident without being arrogant." Her lips brushed over his forehead. "A lot of men with your background can't pull that off. They're assholes because they didn't have your mom or Big Bertha in their life." She rested her head against his. "I, for one, am glad, because between the three of you, I had a safe zone when my mom went off the rails and I eventually learned how to function with normal people."

Jay's arms went around her. "I'll never forget the day you arrived here." She'd been sarcastic, snarky, and used swear words in every sentence.

At the age of eight.

Weslee groaned. "God, we were a mess. My mom's … boyfriend … dumped us at the front door, peeled rubber, and never looked back." She shook her head. "And thus a pattern was established."

Jay rubbed her back. "You went through a lot. My mom took to you right away." The same way he had.

And she'd seen what he did under the surface of the rogue daughter—a scared little girl who'd never admit her fear and would fiercely protect herself and her mother.

Weslee chuckled. "She was horrified I knew how to swear better than most sailors." She eased back. "I'm so sorry you lost her."

His heart gave a twist. "Me too. But her legacy lives on here."

Weslee lifted her chin. "And in you."

Jay nodded. He'd taken over at the shelter two years before her death and hoped to continue improving on her passion project. Adding Weslee to the staff definitely counted.

"Hey. You two gonna come out and break bread with me or what?" Bertha poked her head inside the office.

Weslee laughed and scooted off his lap. "Wouldn't miss it. Whatever you made smells wonderful."

Bertha basked under the praise. "Stroganoff and fresh bread. And a salad from the extra produce our veggie guy dropped off." She turned and started for the kitchen.

Jay got up and fell into step beside Weslee.

She put her arm around his waist. "Let's make it your place … mine's not livable yet. I have zero furniture."

Jay grinned. "My place it is."

I'm excited about this one. I love friends to lovers, especially when there's not a secret crush—although those are fun too.

That's it for this week. Happy reading!

Sunday Snippet: One Time Thing

Geez, half of May is gone and I have no idea where it went. At least the weather has somewhat improved and feels more like spring heading into summer.

Had a fairly decent week of work and television viewing. Finished up a project and completed another one.

I started a new episode of Blue Heelers and got about halfway through. So far, it's an interesting one.

I caught the penultimate episode of No Offence. I have a feeling the finale is going to be a doozy. I'm looking forward to starting the third series.

I finished up the second part of Silent Witness. I should be ready to move on to season eleven in the near future. I think I have one more two-parter to watch.

Watched another arc of Classic Who. Once again, I got a little annoyed with Four. There's something about his arrogance that rubs me wrong. Pretty decent four-part series of episodes leading up to the six-part finale, which I'm looking forward to.

Caught another episode of UFOs: The Lost Evidence. This one focused on pilots and astronauts that had experiences seeing unidentified flying objects.

Watched a couple of The Muppet Show episodes. Don Knotts and Zero Mostel were the guests. I'd forgotten they had a new opening for the second season. I'm kind of partial to the first season's opener.

Caught another episode of The Hardy Boys. I like this show. For me, there's a lot of nostalgia because it harkens back to phones with cords, unorganized or unstructured days, eight-bit video games, and hanging out with friends. The mystery and dangerous stuff is icing on the cake.

Also started another episode of Peak Practice. Jack's in Africa and Beth and Will are trying to manage the practice while they wait on a replacement doctor. I have a feeling this episode might end up being a sad one.

That's it for television this week. Tonight's post is from One Time Thing, a novella that features my characters battling a powerful attraction.

Here's the mini-blurb:

Sometimes a wicked powerful attraction isn't always a good thing. Vickie South and Grant Magnus have an instant spark, but Vickie is dating Grant's best friend. A stormy night and loss of power set the stage, and the duo can't resist the strong pull, which makes for an awkward situation all around.

And a snippety peek…

Holy shit. His pictures don't do him justice.

Vickie blinked at her reaction, ignoring the jolt of awareness coursing through her body. She liked his quirky greeting. That had to be her stomach flip-flopped.

She rolled right along with her reply. "Got it one go." Sticking out her hand, she smiled. "Vickie South. I'm your ride to the airport." Geez, why the hell did her voice go husky and soft?

Grant clasped her palm. "Grant Magnus. Nice to finally meet you." He squeezed her fingers before reaching inside the door to grab his suitcase. "Appreciate you stepping in for the save. I'm between vehicles right now." He locked up and pulled the handle on his rolling luggage.

Vickie arched a brow. "As in you don't own one?" She'd be lost without her little blue four-door.

Grant flashed a grin. "Nope. But I will soon." He deftly maneuvered his case into her backseat. "I'm picking up my new ride when I get back." He slid into the passenger seat.

Vickie started the engine. "A big monster like Brent's or something different?" She reversed out of the drive.

Grant chuckled. "I've outgrown the need for huge displays of manhood." He sent her a deadpan glance.

Vickie laughed. "Oh, you're definitely Brent's friend." She liked the humorous dig only a best mate could make.

Grant shook his head. "Yeah, we rib each other all the time." He settled back in the seat. "Seriously, though, I'm not hurting financially but I want something that'll do the work of a truck but won't make me feel like I'm driving a tank."

Vickie slid her gaze sideways for a moment. "You're getting a Jeep, aren't you?" When he blinked in surprise, she smirked. "Tricked out with all the comforts, towing capacity, and probably a sleek dark shade."

He huffed out a laugh. "Damn, you're good. It is the luxury model, can pull an RV, and is a nice wine shade." He tilted his head to one side. "How'd you put that together?"

The light changed and she focused on the road again. "The dark color because you're in security and you'd want something fairly nondescript. I figured the top of the line model since you're a former soldier and have probably had enough of stripped down everything." She paused a moment before delivering her final observation. "You'd want a towing option since you like to go off the grid sometimes and get away from everything." She did a little chair dance with her last reveal.

Grant snorted. "It's really not fair that Brent has a big mouth."

Vickie nodded. "He really does. Nothing stays secret with him for long." He loved to tell tall tales from childhood.

Grant tsked. "Understatement of the century … except where you're concerned." He shifted to face her a little. "What else do you do aside from teaching yoga? You don't have to include keeping Brent in line. That's a given."

Vickie bit back another laugh. He definitely had his best friend pegged.

Honestly not sure where this one is going. The sages have ideas that I'm not quite down with, but hopefully I'll whip Vickie and Grant's story into shape.

Sunday Snippet: Once in a Lifetime

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. We're having some unseasonably chilly and rainy weather but it's nice to have my youngest home for the weekend.

Had a weird mix of editing work and a bunch of stuff I needed to catch up on this week. I did manage to get some solid writing time in also, which makes me very happy. I finished up a manuscript I've been working on for a long time and got it ready for some beta readers! I also finished a sexy short and have it ready for some critique as well.

Not a bad week for television. I started a new to me show on Hulu with The Hardy Boys. The first episode had a lot going on but I enjoyed it. My brother highly recommended the series because he liked it a lot. We remember the original Hardy Boys from way back in the day so I'll go with his recommendation.

I started a Master Class series on graphic design. I'm not going to win any awards, but I have an interest in the topic and I like to know what goes into making things like book covers and media for marketing purposes. I have several more classes to watch and I'm looking forward to them.

Caught the second episode of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. So far, I'm still in. I like looking at the world through Sabrina's eyes and watching how everyone reacts with her. I'm split down the middle with the aunts and I love her cousin. Harvey and Sabrina's friends are fun also. The jury is out on the teacher. I have a bit of a hang up about the actress because she played a character I really didn't like on Doctor Who. That's not her fault, it's part of the Moffet era that I didn't enjoy.

Watched another episode of Peak Practice and it was a tough one, but I enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to seeing the next one even though Beth and Jack are kind of going through the wringer right now.

Started a new episode of Blue Heelers. It's interesting to see how witness protection works in another country. I also love to see how the small-town heelers have a better grasp on how things work than the big city guys.

I finished the first season of Picard and, wow, I did not expect to be a sobbing mess. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed the show. It took me some time to really get into the series, but I ended up getting pretty invested in the core group. I am left with a couple of questions, which isn't a bad thing. I'll look forward to seeing if those get answered in the second season.

Caught another episode of Chicago Med and it's part of a crossover event I remember watching. I'm ready for the next episode, hopefully this week.

Last but not least, I caught another Passionflix holiday Quickie with Just Say When. It was on the shorter side but didn't suffer for it. A nice little bit of angsty merriment.

That's it for television this week. Tonight's post is from Once in a Lifetime, a novella where my characters see each other in a different light all because of a formal function and a seriously hot dress.

Here's the mini-blurb:

Evan McCoy overhears Sasha Knepf shout his name when she's in the throes of passion with another man. He confronts her the next day in the hotel suite and demands an explanation, which she's not inclined to provide since he ditched her after their second dance at the annual ball.

And a snippety peek…

Sasha enjoyed the fact she'd pulled off the ultimate mind-blowing experience. "The seven years of dance my mom made me take are paying off now, right?" She glided on the dance floor within the circle of Evan's arms.

His eyes went wide. "You took dance?" He cleared his throat. "Wait, that was a dick thing to say. What I mean is, yes, definitely paying off." He tightened his grip on her and lowered his head close to her ear. "You're full of surprises."

She grinned and a shot of heat went through her. "You have no idea." She tilted her head back and added a suggestive tone. "But you could…"

A flash of something wicked lit his eyes and she shivered a little. If all went well, she might fulfill a long-held fantasy. Definitely worth the effort to shock and impress him.

But … time to actually work and keep an eye on the commissioner. When the song ended, she and Evan agreed they should mingle for a while and work through the crowd. The threat level had been flagged as orange, which meant the assessment included a heightened chance of something happening. The commissioner had pissed off a few of the advocate groups recently when he said he wouldn't take meetings until the city council completed their fact-finding discourse.

Sasha shook her head. "He's stuck. He can't move without the council's approval and they're dragging their feet." She jumped when a hand landed on her shoulder.

Turning, she bit back a sigh. Benton Calhoun, the deputy commissioner, stood grinning like a loon. The guy had some good ideas, but his smarmy attitude rubbed her wrong.

Benton arched a brow. "You seem to have a good handle on the issues facing the commissioner."

She frowned. "Do they not affect you, too?" Being one rung down only protected him so much.

Benton shrugged. "Of course. But I'm not the face everyone sees at the press conferences."

And, boy, that bugged him. She didn't doubt her gut instinct one bit. But he did a lot of work behind the scenes and word got out. He continued to be popular with the general public and the police union.

Sasha opted for flattery. "Maybe you should be. Skerrit Nelson always looks angry." He had bushy brows that furrowed all the time and a gruff countenance.

But Sasha liked him. He had a great sense of humor when microphones and cameras weren't shoved in his face. Benton, on the other hand, had leading-man looks and oodles of charm.

Benton's lips curved. "I'll take that compliment."

She smiled. "As you should." Her gaze caught someone waving behind the DC. "Um, it looks like you're needed elsewhere. If I'm not mistaken, the News 9 anchorwoman is trying to get your attention."

Benton's lips thinned but he covered quickly with a half-smile. "Ah, yes. She's angling for an exclusive with the commissioner. Sadly, I'll have to put her off for a while." He nodded. "You look stunning. I'd love a dance later."

Sasha tilted her head. "I'm here for the entire function. I'll be around." She wouldn't mind a quick trip around the floor with him.

But she'd rather dance with Evan again. Her gaze sought him out and she grinned when he made his way toward her. Maybe she'd get her wish.

He stopped by her side. "The DC seems smitten … rightfully so."

Sasha laughed. "He did say I look stunning." She left out the part about asking her to dance.

Evan clasped her elbow. "He's not wrong." He nodded toward the designated section of the room. "Care for another spin? It looks like the major players have decided to abandon the bar for the dance floor."

Sasha smiled. "By all means. Let's join them." She followed him to the middle of the throng of bodies and stepped easily into his arms.

I love the dynamic between Sasha and Evan even when circumstances conspire to ruin their evening … but they'll more than make up for and meet the promise of more later.

That's it for this week. Happy reading.

Sunday Snippet: On the Bench

Hello, May! I'll be honest, I had a momentary freak out when I realized we're a month away from being halfway done with the year. It's so weird how time seems to fly by so fast but it also drags on for what seems like decades. Geez.

Had an okay week of television. I started a new to me show The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which I enjoyed. It's pretty creepy and I'm intrigued enough to keep watching.

Watched the penultimate episode of Picard. It went in a direction I didn't expect and I'm not quite sure how I feel about where things are at the moment. I'm looking forward to the finale.

Caught another Passionflix holiday Quickie. Sexy Scrooge ended up being pretty good. I liked the couple's chemistry and the Uber driver was fun.

Started another new episode of Blue Heelers. I'm almost finished with this one and I'm interested to see where things go. They're starting something of a serialized continuation and I'm down with that.

Watched Chicago Med and enjoyed it. I'm four episodes in and I'm getting a better feel for who the cast is. It's helpful to have some experience with the Chicago crossovers.

Caught another episode of No Offence. Things are moving along at a good clip and I'm pretty interested in seeing where the new boss lands where Viv is concerned. I kind of love the feud between Nora and Viv.

Started the first part of Silent Witness. This one is very twisty and I can't wait to see if I'm right about who the killers are.

Watched another arc of Classic Who. I'm kind of amazed at how a show from thirty years ago manages to kind of hit on things that are happening right now.

Ended up getting in another episode of UFOs: The Lost Evidence. This one featured segments on death-bed confessions from government officials and military people.

Also managed to finish the first season of The Muppet Show and I'm getting ready to start the second. First guest star is Don Knotts, which should make for a fun show.

That's it for the weekly update. Tonight's post is from On the Bench, a novella where some questionable choices come back to haunt one of the main characters.

Here's the mini-blurb:

Peyton Bice comes of age around the mixed maritial arts sporting events and her past comes calling in the form of her father's former star fighter, now a leading trainer. Rookie Cliff Westfordson offers a shoulder to lean on, but Peyton fears getting tangled up with the newest recruit on her dad's roster.

And a snippety peek…

Peyton tilted her head sideways, a myriad of emotions crossing her face. "Can you do something for me … right now." She held out her hand.

He grasped her palm. "Sure, what?" He sat up and she slid off his lap.

She met his gaze. "Hold me? Just for a few minutes." Her face crumpled and her eyes watered.

He hauled her close. "Absolutely. As long as you need." He wrapped his arm around her.

She buried her head in his chest, her shoulders shaking. Cliff figured she needed the outlet and whispered soothing words. Delayed reaction had her taking deep, shuddering sobs that gradually changed to soft sniffles, her breath hitching occasionally.

Being responsible for the hospitalization of an opponent took a toll even if he couldn't shake the idea Peyton hadn't been the one to do the most damage. They participated in a dangerous sport and no one but the trainers knew how many injuries the fighters carried into the ring. But if the trainers were the ones causing harm…

Yeah, better put that thought aside for now.

He grew quiet when Peyton finally relaxed in his arms. He had no idea how long he held her, but when her head lolled to the side, he shifted his position, lifting her up and carrying her out of the gym. He didn't give one damn if anyone saw them, but he stayed to the darker side of the corridor when he made his way to her dad's office. Using a quick twist, he got the door opened and nudged it shut then settled down on the couch, the leather creaking under their weight. Settling Peyton on his lap, she burrowed into him and heaved a quiet sigh. He grabbed the woven throw from the back and draped it over her.

She might have asked for a few minutes, but he intended to stay until she woke up. If that took the rest of the night, he'd be just fine with that.

Peyton definitely dodged a bullet when she walked away from a previous relationship so she's taking a big step by trusting Cliff here, but her heart knows what her mind doesn't.

That's it for this week. Happy reading!
